Figs were never part of my childhood, however when we moved to the 1840's Glen Ewin Jam Factory at Houghton, with its fig history and remnant orchards I became bitten by the bug.
Each year we seek the perfect fig and when just right you can still taste the flavour up to an hour later. We invite you to do the same, just make sure you are eating them at the right time. You can find out how on the about page.
